Healed Results · Hollywood, FL
Designed for healed skin.
Anyone can shoot a tattoo the day it's done, red and glossy. What matters is the version you actually live with — weeks and months later, once the skin settles. That's what we design for.
We’ll talk placement, linework and how it ages before a needle touches skin.
01 — Why healed matters
Fresh looks good. Healed is the real test.
Line weight, spacing and contrast all shift as a tattoo heals. Lines soften, tight detail can blur, and colour settles a few shades down. An artist who only designs for the fresh photo leaves you with something that looks worse every year — so we build in the breathing room a piece needs to still read clean once it's yours for good.
02 — How we design for it
Placement, spacing, and honest advice.
We'll tell you before we start if a design is too fine for where you want it, if the spacing will close up, or if a spot is going to age badly. That conversation is part of every free consultation — and sometimes the most useful thing we say is “let's change this so it lasts.”
How healing actually works →03 — Recent work
Built to age well.
A sample of recent pieces. Our dedicated healed-photo archive is still growing — the best proof is in person, so ask to see healed work by any of our artists when you come in.
