Every tattoo and piercing at Foenix Ink leaves with a simple, written aftercare plan from your artist or piercer — what to clean with, what to leave alone, and what healing is supposed to look like. It's tailored to your specific piece and placement, so the exact steps come from the person who did the work, not a generic sheet.
02 — What to expect
Healing has a rhythm
Some redness, tenderness and light swelling in the first few days is normal for both tattoos and piercings. Healing continues for weeks after — cartilage piercings and larger tattoos take longer than lobes or small pieces.

When to call us
If anything looks off — unusual swelling, spreading redness, unusual discharge, or anything that doesn't match what your artist or piercer told you to expect — call the studio. We'd rather look at it early than have you guess.

What happens if my tattoo or piercing looks off while healing?
Call the studio — that's what we're here for. You leave with a simple aftercare plan, and if anything looks wrong during healing, we'd rather see it early than late.
Should I tell you about medical conditions or medications?
Yes, always — conditions and medications can affect healing, and your artist or piercer will tell you honestly if today isn't the right day. When in doubt, check with your doctor first; we'd rather reschedule than complicate your healing.
How long does healing take?
It depends on what you got and where — lobes and small tattoos heal fastest, cartilage piercings and larger tattoo pieces take the longest. Your artist or piercer will tell you what's normal for your specific piece before you leave.
