Serving Sunrise, FL · 25–30 min via I-595 from the studio
Tattoo Shop Serving Sunrise
Sunrise sits out by Sawgrass Mills and the Panthers' arena, on the far-west edge of Broward — which makes the run to Foenix Ink a real drive, about twenty-five minutes east down I-595. Forty-two Sunrise residents make it anyway, split fairly evenly between tattoos and piercings. What they're driving toward is a custom studio rather than a walk-up counter: one resident artist carries your tattoo from a free consultation to the healed result, the price is agreed before any deposit, and piercings are needle-only with implant-grade titanium from $50. We're at 2019 Hollywood Blvd in downtown Hollywood, open noon to midnight every day — so even a west-Broward drive after work still leaves plenty of chair time.
30 minutes with your artist. No deposit, no obligation.
01 — Why Sunrise makes the drive
Out in Sunrise the closest ink is usually a mall kiosk or a quick-turn shop, and twenty-five minutes east buys the opposite of that. Our forty-two Sunrise clients tend to come for the parts a counter skips: an artist who plans placement and sizing at a free consultation, a portfolio of healed work instead of day-one photos, and a piercer who checks anatomy before choosing titanium. Roughly half came for tattoos and half for piercings, which tracks — when a studio does both properly, one visit can cover both. If you're weighing a first sleeve or a curated ear, the drive down I-595 pays off in a plan you can actually trust.
02 — Getting here from Sunrise
From Sunrise the straightest shot is I-595 east to I-95, then south to the Hollywood Blvd exit and east into downtown — the studio is at 2019 Hollywood Blvd, Unit B, just west of Young Circle. If you're nearer Sunrise Blvd, take it east toward US-1 and drop south instead. Reckon on twenty-five to thirty minutes outside rush hour, with easy side-street parking a block off the strip.
Sunrise clients come to us from Sawgrass, Sunrise Lakes, Welleby, Springtree, Bonaventure.

Sunrise FAQ
How long is the drive from Sunrise to Foenix Ink?
About twenty-five to thirty minutes — I-595 east to I-95 south, off at Hollywood Blvd and east to 2019 Hollywood Blvd, Unit B. It's a genuine cross-Broward drive, but a simple one.
Is it worth coming east from the Sawgrass area?
For custom work, yes — our forty-two Sunrise clients came for a resident artist, healed-results portfolio and a fixed price set at a free consultation, not a mall-counter quote. For a tiny flash piece you may not need the miles, and we'll say so.
Do Sunrise clients come for tattoos or piercings?
Close to an even split of the forty-two on file. That fits a studio that does both to one standard — resident-artist tattoos and needle-only piercings with titanium — so a single visit can cover a tattoo and a piercing.
Can I do a tattoo consult and a piercing the same trip?
Absolutely — many do, especially on a longer drive. The tattoo consultation is free and the piercing is walk-in, so you can knock out both between noon and midnight, any day.
